GREEK SERIES
THE LIGHT OF ORIGIN
Born from the sacred geometry of Greece, the series reveals light as divine matter — carved in marble, touched by gold, and silenced into form.
ECHO OF LIGHT
PHILOSOPHY
LIGHT AS BEING | In Hellenic thought, phos — light — was not a physical phenomenon but the manifestation of being itself.
Plato saw light as the bridge between the visible and the intelligible.
Plotinus wrote of the radiance that emanates from the One, shaping the cosmos into form.
The Greek world perceived harmony as sacred law — a rhythm binding the heavens and the earth.
To create within this order was not to decorate but to reveal: to carve away the unnecessary until truth shone through the material.
This same vision defines the Maison Aetherion ethos.
Each object becomes a contemporary hymn to proportion —
where marble breathes, gold warms the silence, and geometry restores the world to its primordial balance.
Through these forms, light once again becomes origin — not a tool of design, but the essence of creation itself.
Helios Column
White Naxos Marble
A minimalist marble monolith inspired by Aegean clarity and classical Greek architectural proportions. Hand-carved from solid Naxos marble and presented on a refined wooden base.
Aegean Fragment
Sounion Aragonite
A rare aragonite formation from Cape Sounion, with natural Aegean blue-green crystallization. A sculptural fragment capturing the raw serenity of Greece’s coastal geology.
Aether Column
Ivory Onyx
A sculptural monolith carved from warm Ivory Onyx, capturing the tranquil glow of the Aegean and the harmonious balance of classical Greek proportion.
Materiality – Sculpturing with Light
|
Every piece within the Greek Series is an act of reverence.
White marble from Naxos and Penteli, olive and oak woods, translucent onyx, and brushed gold – these are not mere materials but vessels of memory.
Under warm illumination, veins of marble echo ancient columns;
the diffuse reflection on gold recalls the first sunrise over the Aegean.
These works are not fixtures or vessels, they are architectural relics of serenity —
the rebirth of sacred geometry through contemporary craftsmanship.
