Markos is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the spiritual and physical nature of light — transforming raw materials into sculptural objects that bridge art, design, and illumination.

Each creation is conceived as a living sculpture, meticulously handcrafted either by his own hands or by selected artisans under his direct supervision. His practice is rooted in noble, natural materials: translucent marble, onyx, rare woods, and semiprecious stones — materials chosen for their inner luminosity and architectural presence.

Blending tradition with innovation, Markos incorporates advanced techniques such as 3D printing, magnetic levitation, and integrated LED systems, expanding the dialogue between material and illumination and pushing the boundaries of contemporary light-sculpture.

Guided by the belief that light reveals the hidden soul of matter, his work investigates the relationship between substance and radiance — between the eternal and the ephemeral. Each object becomes a vessel of memory, geometry, and spiritual resonance.

His artistic vision draws from four cultural lineages: the harmony and mythology of Greece, the serenity and minimalism of Japan, the opulence and mysticism of Arabia, and the clarity and austerity of the Nordic North. These influences shape a distinctive aesthetic language that unites sculptural purity with emotional depth.

United through light, these elements form the spiritual and aesthetic foundation of Maison Aetherion — a place where matter transcends form and becomes presence.
